Time Out Market Cards
Conditions of use
The Time Out Market Card is made available by Time Out Market to facilitate all purchases made in participating shops and spaces, thus avoiding the use of cash. It may be loaded with any amount at the counter set up for the purpose inside the Time Out Market Lisboa food hall. It is only necessary to acquire a Time Out Market Card if you do not have or prefer not to use your credit, debit card or MB WAY, all any of which may be used as means of payment for purchases made in the Time Out Market. The maximum top-up limit per person at the Time Out Shop is 10 cards. For larger amounts, please send an email to infolisboa@timeoutmarket.com, indicating the number of cards, amounts to load on each card and the date of the visit to the Time Out Market. These cards will then be available to pick up at the Time Out Shop. The Time Out Market Card can only be used in all restaurants, bars and shops on the ground floor of the Time Out Market Lisbon food hall, excluding any others. The amount loaded onto your Time Out Market Card is a form of prepayment that gives you access to the purchase of goods and services in the good hall’s participating shops and spaces. Present your card at the moment of purchase and the balance available on the card will be used to pay, if you authorise this, with the amount in question subsequently deducted from the balance available on the card. The amount credited to or the remaining balance on a Time Out Market Card cannot be exchanged for cash. Treat your Time Out Market Card as if it were cash. The Time Out Market cannot be responsible for lost or stolen cards or for any other unauthorised use of cards. No compensation will be paid for any card that might be lost or stolen.
Cost of card
The Time Out Market Card has a cost of €1.50.
Fees
No fee will be charged for activation, use or inactivity related to your Time Out Market Card.
Validity
The Time Out Market Card is valid for one year from the date it is first loaded at the Time Out Shop.
Unused balance
Any unused balance on your Time Out Market Card will not be returned; it should be spent on the purchase of goods and services in the Time Out Market food hall. The amount on the card may be combined with other payment methods allowed in the Time Out Market food hall so as to make up the full cost of the purchase. The Time Out Market reserves the right to not accept or to limit the use of a particular card if it suspects that it is being used in an unauthorised, fraudulent or illegal manner, so as to limit its risk. The Time Out Market will only assure the amount loaded onto the Time Out Market Card if it is bought directly from Time Out Market, if it is also validated in the form mentioned above and if it is in good condition.
